"CHICKEN RICE" Homemade rice with chicken
Ingredients for 2 peopleCanned Peas
- White rice - 100 grams
- Chicken broth - 350 milliliters
- Chicken breast - 150 grams
- Carrot - 1 unit
- Green beans - 50 grams
- Salt to taste
- Saffron - 0.1 grams
- Fried tomato - 2 large tablespoons
- Onion - 1 unit
- Garlic cloves - 2 units
- Black pepper - to taste
To begin with, peel and finely chop the onion and garlic cloves. Heat oil in a frying pan, and, when it takes color, we throw the garlic and the chopped onion. Sauté over medium heat until tender.
Peel and dice the carrot into small pieces. Add it to the pan. We removed the tips from the beans, and, after cutting them into medium pieces, we also added them to the frying pan.
We heat the chicken broth in a saucepan so that it is hot when we have to throw it to the pan.
While we cook the vegetables, we cut the chicken breast into thick pieces. When the vegetables are tender, add the chopped chicken to the frying pan and continue cooking.
When the chicken has taken a little color, add the tomato sauce, pepper, salt and saffron to the pan. We mixed. Pour hot chicken broth into the pan.
When the chicken broth breaks to a boil, add the rice. We cook until the rice has absorbed almost all the water and is tender.5 minutes before finishing the cooking, we put the peas cooked and drained to the pan and we remove. We serve hot.
